John, Today, No Labels’ patriotic citizen delegates voted to take the next step toward selecting a Unity ticket for the 2024 presidential election.

Hi John,

Today marked a historic moment for America’s commonsense majority.

Over the past two years, it’s become increasingly clear that the 2024 election will feature a rematch between two historically unpopular nominees.

In turn, it’s become clear a majority of voters are crying out for a leader who could inspire the nation, move us past the current partisan moment, and most importantly, solve the real problems our country faces, from tackling our soaring national debt to fixing our broken immigration system and securing our border.

Sadly, as we saw during this week’s State of the Union address, our leaders are still ignoring some of the most pressing issues we need to address. For instance, President Biden once again joined President Trump in vowing not to tackle the long-term health of Social Security – we know that within a decade, Social Security’s trust funds will go bankrupt, leading to a 24 percent reduction in benefits and a doubling of the poverty rate of the elderly.

That’s why No Labels has methodically and diligently undertaken the task of pursuing ballot access nationwide. This ballot line exists to provide a choice to American voters, and we’ve always said our movement would decide shortly after the Super Tuesday primaries whether it makes sense to provide that choice.

Today, 800 No Labels citizen delegates from all across the political spectrum and all 50 states, gathered virtually to resoundingly affirm that the time for another option is now.

These delegates have directed No Labels to escalate our conversations with candidates and empowered us to formally offer our ballot line should we find candidates who embrace No Labels’ values and who we believe could ultimately win the White House.

If No Labels puts up a Unity ticket, it will be on the ballot in all 50 states. But as we have said repeatedly, No Labels will only be securing ballot access in 33 states because most of the remaining states require a named candidate to get on the ballot. The Unity ticket campaign would be in charge of getting ballot access in the remainder of the states and they would have more than enough time to do it.

Next week, you’ll learn more about the process through which No Labels would pick a Unity ticket. In the meantime, continue to follow No Labels for more information on how we are fighting on behalf of the commonsense majority.

CNN: Senator Lieberman on Out Front with Erin Burnett

By CNN

“We’re at the moment of truth and we’re ready for it. We’re right on schedule. We’re going to ask the delegates on Friday, “Do you want us to go forward to do some final surveying of public opinion?” because we’ve said we’re not going to do this unless we have a chance to win.”

No Labels Could Give U.S. Someone To Vote For, Not Against

 By Greg Orman

“...Lots of Americans might be grateful that No Labels gave them an option. In the meantime, let’s hope No Labels fields a ticket that gives Americans someone to vote for, instead of sentencing us once again to voting against one of two stale choices.”
