Women deserve the choice to do what they want with their bodies — not the anti-choice extremist agenda.

Hi there,
I will always fight to defend our rights to abortion, contraception, and healthcare access. Unfortunately, Republicans remain committed to controlling women by any means possible.
Just last month, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled to classify embryos as human beings, restricting (and effectively banning) in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Alabama.
This is an egregious attack on reproductive freedom that sets a horrifying precedent. Currently, 125 House Republicans — including Speaker Mike Johnson — support the Life at Conception bill, which would ban IVF, abortion, birth control, and more with no exceptions.
I will always use my voice to stand up for what’s right for North Carolina. I co-sponsored the Access to Family Building Act in the House — because women have the right to make reproductive health care decisions without adhering to Republicans’ anti-choice extremist agenda.
With less than eight months before the polls open on Election Day, the stakes are higher than ever. We deserve leadership that will relentlessly defend our rights and protect our democracy — and it's evident that Republicans up and down the ballot refuse to do so.
This November, we have a chance to say YES to progress and democracy and NO to anti-choice extremism. But we can't do this without you. Help me hold my seat and continue my fight for justice, equality, and progress by donating any amount today:

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
