We’ve had a busy week on the campaign trail!

The election may seem far away right now, but our district lines were recently changed, so we have a lot of new folks to connect with! Meeting people is one of my favorite parts of this job, and I’ve been having a great time talking to folks about what matters most to them and how we can work together to accomplish great things.

But that brings me to one of my least favorite parts of this job… asking for money. It’s awkward and uncomfortable, and it’s certainly not how I was raised. But it’s unfortunately very important – especially for a grassroots campaign like ours. The more time we spend out in the field, the less time we have to focus on fundraising, which is why your contribution today means so much to me.
