John: We all saw Speaker Johnson last night.
We’re not going to make you look at him again today.
Couldn’t clap for anything. Not for our democracy, not for standing against Putin — not even for supporting our friends fighting for their own democracy in Ukraine.
Speaker Johnson CONTINUES to drag his feet, refusing to take up a bill that supports Ukraine and would help them continue the fight against Putin. Even when he knows that bill would pass with a strong, bipartisan majority.
We’ve had enough of it.
We’re going to be on Capitol Hill next week, and we’re going to take this issue directly to Speaker Johnson’s doorstep. We’re going to fly VoteVets members to Washington, and we’ll join with our allies to press Speaker Johnson to put this aid up for a vote and get it across the finish line.
