John,
Happy International Women’s Day! 💪
Today is a global day celebrating the historical and invaluable social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and contributions of women!
We’re taking time to celebrate the accomplishments of women across the world and to reflect upon the work we have left to reach a truly equitable world. Over a century ago, women marched in the streets to demand the right to vote, better working conditions, and increased pay. While we have come a long way, there is still progress to be made and so much on the line in 2024 – particularly women's autonomy over their own healthcare decisions and protecting reproductive freedom from relentless attacks.
Our rights are on the ballot in November. I will never stop fighting for Long Islanders and will be a champion for women in Congress.
