“We can’t let democracy die.”

That’s how the chairman of the Weld County Democrats gaveled his party’s
virtual assembly to order yesterday. From Greeley to Grand Junction,
delegates across the state cast electronic ballots this weekend in the
race to replace Cory Gardner.

The early returns show an overwhelming lead for our grassroots campaign.

before Tuesday’s FEC deadline?

Please understand: we know this is a
harrowing time. For all of us, the pandemic overshadows everything else.

But Colorado’s Senate race is not on hold—and neither is the opposition.
Mitch McConnell’s Super PAC just announced plans to spend $5.5 million on
Gardner’s behalf.

The only way to win this race is first to unite the Democratic Party.
We’ve taken a big step in that direction by capturing every county
assembly reporting so far.

deadline.

Raising money is the last thing we want to be doing right now. But given
Tuesday’s critical deadline, the GOP’s giant bank account—and the enormous
stakes in this election—we can’t slow down.

Thank you—and stay safe!
