Hola John,
My name is Dalia Rodriguez, and I am the Outreach & Organizing Director for Team Pramila! I am so excited to be a partner with you on this team and wanted to take a minute to reach out and introduce myself:
I began organizing and mobilizing my neighbors in high school when my mentor ran for office and I helped him increase Hispanic voting turnout. To this day, what continues to motivate me has been being able to form that sense of community within different groups and reaching a common goal.
I was very excited when I saw that Team Pramila was hiring! Pramila is someone who I look up to and admire because of the way she gets things done and builds long-lasting relationships. I’m also impressed with the way she can work and understand all communities and become a vocal ally for them in DC.
Each day, I am working to support the effort to re-elect Pramila to another term so she can continue the critical work she does as a vocal ally for all communities. Today, will you pledge your support by making a $3 contribution to our campaign?
I’m passionate about working to get more women elected. I have worked with U.S. Senator Smith (MN) and U.S. Senator Duckworth (IL) as well as various candidates from local to state levels. I have always prioritized engaging communities of color, labor unions, and issue advocacy organizations. I have also had the opportunity to mobilize city, suburban, and rural communities in Minnesota, Oregon, Illinois, and now Seattle.
In my free time, I enjoy helping my friends redecorate their homes or anything from yoga classes or dance classes to cooking classes. I also like to try new restaurants and coffee shops and am always looking for more suggestions and ways to support local businesses – especially here in Seattle!
I'm excited to build a home here in Seattle and create long-term mobilization within not only our campaign but the progressive movement overall. Our work is more important than ever, John.
Together,
Dalia Rodriguez
