Hello Friends!

It's Ajlan here, but you can call me AJ. I've got some news: I'm running for Chandler City Council!

These past three months I have been knocking on doors in Chandler, meeting new friends, and understanding what the community wants to see in this city. After a lot of thought, consideration and encouragement from my community, I am excited to tell you all that I am running for Chandler City Council!

I am extremely grateful for all who have supported me in my past endeavors and am looking forward to sharing with you all why I am running for city council in the city where I built my life, my business, and my dreams.

We should always be aspiring for more. We have the opportunity to make Chandler the most inclusive, dynamic city for small businesses to flourish. We can create opportunities for all, not just a few.

I have seen firsthand the impacts of decisions made on the city level regarding quality education, as my partner is an educator, affordable housing, as I am a homeowner, and small, local businesses, as I am a small-business owner in Chandler of 17 years.

And I'm running for these reasons: to help Arizonans and the people of Chandler achieve their American dream and work hard to make our lives a little bit better every day.

Below are some opportunities to help our campaign. The election takes place July 30th, which is only five months away, so we will need all of the help we can get!

If you live in the city of Chandler, please sign our petition on e-qual! Every signature gets me closer to appearing on the ballot.

Sign up to volunteer at voteajlan.com/Canvass, where we will be canvassing with other community leaders across Chandler. We’ve already collected hundreds of petition signatures, however we will be knocking doors up until Election Day!

Finally, please contribute to our campaign so we can reach everyone across this city. Your investment will be crucial to achieve our goal of creating a more inclusive and dynamic Chandler.
