Last night, President Biden made it clear in his State of the Union that freedom and democracy are under assault at home. And that it is the direct result of MAGA extremism.

From the highest form of office in our government to state legislators like Republicans in Wisconsin, MAGA extremists have pushed the bounds of our democracy to places most never imagined — political violence, overt attempts to disenfranchise voters, and even fraudulent electors casting ballots for Trump. We saw that right here in Wisconsin.

As long as they continue serving in office, Trump will continue demanding they do the same. That is what’s at stake this November nationwide and here in Wisconsin. A single man controlling multiple levels of government.

But we have the power to remove those lawmakers who have abused their power to strip the will of Wisconsinites to serve Trump’s political agenda. And it starts with us doing everything we can to flip the Wisconsin state legislature blue.

We must fight extremism at the national and local level.

We must get voters to the polls to vote blue up and down the ballot and ensure that the Wisconsin State legislature flips overwhelmingly blue — because we need to get these extremists out of our government.

So today, I’m standing with President Biden and calling on this team to help us fight against MAGA extremism in Wisconsin this November.
