John,

I'm proud of the many hats I've worn in my life: a mother, a veteran, a small-business owner, a teacher, and a representative. But as a woman, I've had to overcome prejudice, doubt, and disrespect in every role I've occupied. 

It's International Women's Day, and while the incredible progress women have made is not lost on me, I'm somberly reminded today of just how far back the far right has pushed us in recent years. 

The greatest injustice facing women today in our country is the GOP's attack on our fundamental reproductive rights. At every opportunity, they've denied millions of women a say in deeply personal health care decisions, and trampled on their dignity in the process. 

I'm committed to fighting against the GOP to restore women's reproductive freedoms – but I can't do it alone. 

First, that means doing absolutely everything we can to reelect President Biden so that he can continue to make historic progress on critical issues like reproductive freedom. 

And second, I'm counting on supporters like you to help me fight back against GOP attacks, defend my seat, and get back to work on the things that matter to your family. 

So, please: In honor of International Women's Day, will you give $5 so that I can power my campaign, fight back against the GOP, and continue my efforts to restore our reproductive rights?
