Hey John, you see the latest in The Daily Caller? 💀 Relax, I’m just playing. I hope none of y’all are reading that right-wing rag. But if you did, you might have seen their hard-hitting journalism EXPOSE yours truly. What for, you ask?
THE HORROR!! If you’re shocked and appalled that I would do something like this (supporting an organization that teaches kids about science)... well, you must have missed the fact that my whole thing is believing in the power of education.
That’s right y’all. They’re mad that I brought more than $1 million back home to my district to support the Environmental Leaders of Color. Why would I do such a thing? Well, now that organization will be able to build 317 units of mixed-income housing, artist live/workspace, parking, and ground floor community facility space in a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building (plus another 25,000 square feet of commercial space) right here in the district. Then the Daily Caller did some “research” (aka a google search) and found that the Environmental Leaders of Color also, separately, teaches kids about climate change. SCANDALOUS!! You better not chip in to this email. Otherwise I might… BUILD MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING!
