Last night, during the State of the Union, the President shouted out the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention – an office we fought to make reality, John.
This was our achievement, highlighted in the most critical speech of the year.
Ending gun violence has always been at the forefront of my campaign. It’s what called me to action – both as the National Organizing Director for March for our Lives and as the first of my generation to be elected to Congress.
Our generation has been demanding action. And last night it was made clear that the White House hears us. Ending gun violence is a priority for this administration, in part because we insisted it be.
This is just the beginning. But I know the NRA and gun lobby are plotting revenge against our movement. We need to be prepared, so I’m setting out to raise $25,000 over the next 24 hours to keep us in the fight to end gun violence. Can you split a $27 donation between my campaign and President Biden’s to power our movement for progress and defeat the gun lobby? >>
Keep fighting,
Maxwell Frost
