Folks — Last night, President Joe Biden addressed the nation, championing our wins in boosting the economy and sharing key opportunities to build on the success of historic legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act. I was honored to have Tatiana Del Toro-Frank, a community school coordinator in Las Cruces, New Mexico, as my guest to the State of the Union. Tatiana knows that the greatest investment we can make in the future of the Land of Enchantment is in our kids and our educators. I’m looking forward to working alongside her to continue our work to give every child a chance at success. Yesterday, President Biden redoubled his commitment to building the best education system in the world — from fighting to ensure access to pre-school for three- and four-year-olds, to making college more affordable. President Biden also highlighted victories we should all be proud of — including creating thousands of good-paying clean energy jobs, installing electric vehicle charging stations, repairing our roads and bridges, and taking the most meaningful congressional action on gun safety reform in decades. The president raised the alarm on Republicans’ escalating attacks on reproductive rights, plans to cut Medicare and Social Security, record of handing out massive tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy and major corporations, and threats to our democracy. It’s more important than ever that we stop their extreme agenda in its tracks. In the months ahead, National Republicans will pour every resource they can into boosting Donald Trump and their handpicked Senate candidates, like my hedge fund executive opponent. We can’t afford to let them drown out our winning message, so I’m asking: If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Thank you for your support at this pivotal moment, Martin |
