96 A Message from the ChairwomanHoosier Republican Leadership at
its Best
Friends,

Along with many of you, we watched President
Biden's State of the Union Address last night. Much like his presidency,
President Biden missed the mark, with a complete disregard for rising
costs, our wide open border, and decaying public safety. As we listened,
we were reminded again as to why the hard work our team is putting in to
make 2024 a year of change is so important.

Now more than ever, it is
crucial that Hoosier Republicans come together and sign up to help us
bring this much needed change. That means fundraising, knocking on
doors, making phone calls, attending grassroots events, and much more!
With your help in all these areas, we are confident that we will be
successful in November and will get our country going in the right
direction again.

As we acknowledge the shortcomings of the federal
government, let's remember that because of Hoosier Republicans, we have
great leadership right here in Indiana at every level of government,
from the grassroots up!

We currently have a record number of
Republican mayors statewide, 12 years of super majorities in both
chambers of the General Assembly, and have had a Republican in the
governor's office for almost 20 years. From yearly tax cuts and balanced
budgets, to strong economic development and thriving local communities,
Indiana Republicans have worked together as a team to put Hoosiers and
their families first!

Please sign up

our success from here and take back the White House in 2024.

Thank
you for all that you do.

 💪 Hoosier Republican
Leaders are Taking Action on the Border 🚀
Border security and
immigration policy are issues that should be handled by the federal
government. But because of failed Democrat leadership in our nation's
capital, Hoosier Republicans are stepping up to lead.

sanctuary cities, which are localities that limit or deny cooperation
with federal immigration authorities in enforcing immigration laws.
Indiana law already bans local governments from enacting "sanctuary
city" policies and bans public and private colleges from enacting
"sanctuary campus" policies. However, the enforcement mechanism under
our law was struck down by the courts on technical grounds.
SB 181
fixes this issue so our law against sanctuary cities can be enforced.
Under the bill, the Attorney General has the ability file a lawsuit to
stop a city or college from enacting a sanctuary city/campus policy.
In his State of the Union Address last night, we saw President Biden
try to push the blame for his border crisis on Republicans. Actions
speak louder than words, and Republicans have taken ACTION!

Here is
what Republicans leading on this issue are saying:

Eric Holcomb: Why
I'm sending the Indiana National Guard to the Texas border

Sen.
Rodric Bray Op-Ed: America’s wide open southern border threatens
Hoosiers.

Koch: Bill to enforce Indiana's ban on sanctuary cities
