Monthly Featured BookIndigo & Ida
This middle grade novel tells the story of Indigo, an eighth grader and aspiring journalist, who breaks an important story that exposes an unfair school policy. She stumbles upon a book by Black journalist and activist Ida B. Wells―with private letters written by Ida tucked inside. Indigo realizes she must choose between keeping quiet and fighting for justice.
