Music America: Songs That Shaped Us, a live concert, included performances by Texas musicians Alejandro Escovedo, Ruthie Foster, Lyle Lovett, Jimmie Vaughan, Erika Wennerstrom, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Colin Gilmore.?

The Texas Music Office announced that the City of Mont Belvieu has been designated as the 57th Music Friendly Texas Certified Community by the Texas Music Office (TMO) after completing the multi-step certification process.

The Island of Galveston Becomes Certified as a Music Friendly Texas Community
Galveston Island has been designated as the 58th Music Friendly Texas Certified Community?by the?Texas Music Office (TMO) after completing the multi-step certification process. The certification ceremony was held in the historic Grand 1894 Opera House.?

Texas Music Office Announces Sugar Land Music Friendly Texas Community Workshop
The Texas Music Office (TMO) and the City of Sugar Land co-hosted an in-person and virtual Music Friendly Texas Community workshop on Wednesday, February 28, as the first step towards becoming Music Friendly Texas Certified by the TMO.
