Hey John —

As Cal’s campaign manager, it’s my job to keep us on track to win this incredibly competitive Senate race come November. That means ensuring our organizing operation is up and running, keeping tabs on polling, and of course, making sure we stay on budget.

More recently, it’s meant adjusting our campaign operation in light of the public health crisis we’re facing. We’ve made some changes to the way we campaign—our staff is working remotely, we’re doing “virtual” events, and we’re re-organizing our operation as best we can to keep our team healthy and safe.

In just two days, we’ll close the books on our first quarterly FEC deadline of this election year, which means we’re also focused on meeting our fundraising goals.

It’s never been a more important time to bring new leadership to Washington. But especially after news broke that Mitch McConnell’s super PAC is dumping another $22 million in attack ads against Cal, I am working to make sure we have the resources and plans in place to win.

If you can swing it, will you add a donation to Cal’s campaign for U.S. Senate before our critical FEC filing deadline? If you donate before midnight on Tuesday, your name will be in our Q1 Report.

While our team always likes to see strong totals, it’s important for you to know that the number we value the most is the amount of people who are part of our team.

Thank you for everything,

— Devan
