Dear John,

On Wednesday, MPAC Chief of Staff Rebecca Husaini joined Spectrum News 1 to discuss the pivotal role that protests are playing in shaping the rhetoric around Palestine, and their impact on voting outcomes, heading into the upcoming election.

As innocent civilians continue to bear the brunt of Israel’s escalating attacks, it is imperative that we utilize our voices to raise awareness about the ongoing atrocities in Gaza. Right now, our world leaders have the chance to call for an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people. Instead, many are facilitating these attacks while actively avoiding being held accountable.

With the holy month of Ramadan just a few days away, Israel's threats to further invade Rafah – a designated civilian safe zone – are unconscionable.

We must continue calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to prevent further bloodshed. Our collective action and advocacy can make a tangible difference in shifting the discourse and influencing policymakers.

Whether on the Hill, on the news, or on the streets, MPAC will continue to push the national conversation on Palestine forward. If you would like to see more of MPAC in the media, please consider a donation to fuel this work. With your support, we can pave the way towards positive change together.
