Last night I called Dave Min to congratulate him on becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee for California’s 47th Congressional district. I offered him my best wishes and pledged to do all I can to keep CA-47 blue.

I am immensely grateful to have earned your trust and confidence and of so many people across Orange County, the state, and the country. Thank you for your support during this campaign – whether you donated, knocked on doors, or told a friend about our movement, every bit helped.

While this certainly isn’t the outcome we hoped for, I know we all worked hard to win this election. We mobilized communities across the district with our message prioritizing reproductive rights, protecting our coastlines, and creating an economy that works for everyone.

We must work together to defeat Scott Baugh in November, and we must ensure we have a Democratic House majority that prioritizes Orange County families and women’s reproductive freedom. Although I am no longer a candidate for CA-47, our work continues!
