John,
Tina is taking action on the fentanyl crisis in downtown Portland.
Several weeks ago, she — along with Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson — declared a 90 day state of emergency around fentanyl in the Portland Central City neighborhoods.
The tri-government coalition is now working to better align community safety and public health resources, improve access to addiction services, reduce overdoses, and crack down on illegal activity.
Fentanyl is a dangerous drug — tiny amounts can be deadly — and we’ve lost too many Oregonians to this crisis. This focused state of emergency will allow leaders to maximize efforts and resources to curb preventable deaths, increase access to treatment, and help keep our streets safer.
If you support the Governor’s efforts alongside local government leaders, will you add your name today to say you support her efforts?
Thanks for your support,
Team Tina
