Friend,

The House just passed 6 BLOATED Big Government bills. When you add up just these six bills alone, they’ll cost about $1.5 TRILLION.

I’m alarmed at the rate of the accumulation of debt, and I can’t support this level of spending.

But I’m not alone in this.

The Federal Reserve chairman, Jamie Dimon at Chase, and various other people in the financial sector are alarmed at the amount of debt our country is accumulating so quickly.

REIN IN WASTEFUL SPENDING

Need an idea of how bad the problem is? Our country is accumulating about $1 TRILLION in debt EVERY 3 MONTHS!

This is a threat to our currency, and it’s a threat to our country.

We need to reduce spending, but Republicans are going along with Democrats and the hundreds and hundreds of earmarks.

It isn’t so much about one item here or there. It’s about the overall spending bankrupting the United States, friend.

This is a real step backward, and I will oppose it with every fiber of my being.

STAND WITH RAND: OPPOSE RECKLESS SPENDING

Friend, if we’re going to solve this problem, we have to talk about ALL the spending – including the entitlements.

What makes this worse is Congress keeps putting all of this spending together in one bill, and when they do that, they abdicate the power of the purse. They tie our hands so we have NO leverage to curb spending.

That’s where the government shutdowns come into play, friend.

It’s either we pass ALL of this spending bill – entitlements and earmarks included – or the entire government shuts down. And it’s NOT supposed to be that way.

RUSH IN NOT TO HELP RAND FIGHT BACK

Entitlements – which is two-thirds of spending bills – are going up at 5 to 6%, with NO end in sight.

There is NO fiscal restraint in any of this. It’s a disaster.

I’m not voting for ANY of this, friend, and hope you’ll join me in sending a message to Republicans and Democrats alike: It’s time to get our fiscal house in order.
