The Oklahoma Democratic Party is hosting "Be the Response" a Panel Discussion featuring Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison on Saturday, March 9, 2024, starting at 2 p.m. at the University of Oklahoma in the Thurman J White Forum Building, 1704 Asp Ave, Norman, OK 73072.
Attendees will hear Keith Ellison speak on his career and his book ‘Break the Wheel.’ Oklahoma Legislators Minority Leader Rep. Cyndi Munson, Sen. Julia Kirt, Rep. Amanda Swope, and Rep. Arturo Alonso, will be some of the many featured legislators participating on the panel alongside Attorney General Ellison.
The Oklahoma Democratic Party will also host a private reception later that evening at 6:00 p.m. at The Noun Hotel 542 S University Blvd, Norman, OK 73069 featuring special guest Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. Keith Ellison is the former U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th Congressional District. He also served as the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee and was a Minnesota House of Representatives member from 2003 to 2007. Recently, Ellison made headlines for his work as Special Prosecutor in the case against Derek Chauvin following the murder of George Floyd.
