Good Sunday morning. It's Katie, Joe Biden's National Finance Director.

Whatever your Sunday morning routine might be, whether it's reading the paper, watching the Sunday shows, taking the dog outside (with social distance!), beginning work for the day, or however you are spending your time, I know things probably feel a little bit different these days.

They feel different here on the campaign as well, and I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why I'm reaching out to ask for $5 for the first time in a while.

Frankly, our day-to-day operation on the campaign looks dramatically different than it did even three weeks ago. Everything that we do is virtual, from the supporter town halls, to the media interviews, and even the fundraising events, too.

Everyone is adapting to this new way of campaigning, and for me as Finance Director, that might mean sending you a couple of more emails than I normally would. The entirety of our fundraising is held online, and folks like you taking the time to read and contribute through an email like this one are what will sustain our campaign for the crucial months to come.

Now, we're going to need a lot of contributions these last three days to meet our March end-of-month goal. Earlier in the month, we set a goal of 100,000 donations for this final push. We still want to do that, but it's harder now.
