On Thursday at 9 p.m. EST, President Joe Biden is scheduled to give the American people an update on the health and welfare of our nation. I’m not sure any of us need the update. I think we all see what the actual state of the union is without it being encapsulated in an intentionally skewed State of the Union address.
It will especially be interesting to see how Biden’s speechwriters massage the dismal surge in employment layoffs recently, as reported by Challenger, Gray & Christmas. According to Fox News, the report revealed the acceleration of job cuts by U.S. employers “marked the highest layoff total for the month of February in data going back to 2009.” |

When the Sixth Circuit upheld Tennessee’s ban on the chemical castration of children last year, they singled out the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, or WPATH. This is the organization that major hospitals and gender clinics cite as the all-important authority on so-called “trans healthcare.” In fact, in court, the ACLU argued that WPATH’s professional opinions are important enough to overturn the will of the overwhelming majority of voters in the state of Tennessee. |

The “California Comeback” may be more than just California dreaming. On Tuesday, voting closed for the California Senate primary and saw Democrat Adam Schiff and Republican Steve Garvey end up neck-and-neck, taking them to a general election runoff in November, according to NPR. And Garvey announced the news to his supporters in classic fashion: “Welcome to the California Comeback.” |

Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists killed civilians for the first time this week in their current campaign of terror attacks against merchant ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, U.S. officials said. The Islamic terrorists have launched more than 50 terror attacks against cargo ships and chemical tankers since November of last year. The M/V Rubymar, which was hit by an anti-ship missile last month, became the first ship to be sunk from the attacks. |
