In addition to the Presidential primary, Texas voted on Ted Cruz’s seat, the seats of 15 state senators, and all 150 state house seats -- all of which could make a massive difference for LGBTQ rights in the state and beyond.
Last year, Texas had a record-setting legislative session, filing over 140 anti-LGBTQ laws that eliminate medical freedom for trans youth, censor school libraries, end DEI practices at public universities, and undermine local government’s already limited power -- an obvious systematic attack on LGBTQ people.
