John, I just found out that one of my so-called “Democratic” opponents may be a Republican trying to deceive voters and steal this election from us.
Despite filing in the Democratic primary, he voted in Republican primaries for the 2018, 2020, and 2022 elections. And since Maryland has closed primaries, that means he was registered as a Republican as recently as the last election.
This isn’t a wild conspiracy theory, John. This is a tactic Republicans have used before – just last year, a North Carolina “Democrat” switched parties to enable Republicans to overturn key abortion protections. We cannot run that risk here in Maryland.
John, Maryland voters deserve a truly Democratic representative – someone who will not DECEIVE them about what they believe in, or risk their most fundamental rights.
Plus, this same opponent has already donated $500k of his personal funds to his campaign to BUY this election. So you know we have to fight back on all fronts!
