John — On Tuesday, California voters made their voices heard and cast their votes for candidates who are committed to building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future.

While not every race went our way, we are incredibly heartened by the progress we made on Super Tuesday. Thanks to your unwavering support, a number of our endorsed climate champions are moving forward to the general election:

CONGRESS

🌍 LAURA FRIEDMAN, CA-30: Laura Friedman continues her journey to Congress! Laura’s extensive experience and commitment to bold environmental reforms — from banning toxins to preserving our precious public lands — are exactly what we need in Washington!

CA STATE LEGISLATURE

🌍 SADE ELHAWARY, CA AD-57: Sade Elhawary's innovative campaign merges environmental justice with civil rights, championing efforts to clean up pollution and shift the state further towards adopting clean energy solutions.

🌍 CHRISTY HOLSTEGE, CA AD-47: As a city councilor and mayor in Palm Springs, Christy increased funding to fight wildfires, banned forever chemicals, and facilitated the installation of solar panels on public buildings. She is poised to bring bold environmental leadership to the State Assembly.

🌍 ELOISE GÓMEZ REYES, CA SD-29: As a trailblazing Latina and Majority Leader in the State Assembly, Eloise Gómez Reyes has fought tirelessly for climate justice in the Inland Empire, targeting pollution and holding fossil fuel companies accountable.

🌍 SASHA RENÉE PÉREZ, CA SD-25: Focused on enhancing green spaces and advancing renewable energy, Sasha Renée Pérez brings a vision of community and environmental justice to CA Senate District 25.

🌍 MARISOL RUBIO, CA SD-9: Marisol has worked for years to transition her community to a sustainable, clean energy future through workforce programs and the Climate Action Taskforce. We can count on Marisol to be a leading voice for the environment in the legislature!

COUNTY-LEVEL

🌍 TERRA LAWSON-REMER, SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS: Terra Lawson-Remer is dedicated to cleaning up San Diego’s coastline and transitioning the county to 100% renewable energy by 2035.

Each of these milestones represents a step forward in our ongoing fight against the impacts of climate change. We've shown that when we come together, fueled by passion and armed with the truth, there's nothing we can't achieve.

So, let's take a moment to celebrate and feel the joy of our collective achievement. Then, let's roll up our sleeves and get ready for the biggest fight in 2024.

And if you’re feeling inspired and want to help Jane PAC continue our critical work, now is the perfect time to act. Your support can help us expand our efforts to counter the fossil fuel industry's influence on our politics and elect more climate champions across the country. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every contribution will fuel our fight for a sustainable future. [[link removed]]
