We’ve made it clear: it’s time for an overhaul of outdated HIV criminalization laws created out of fear and misunderstanding. While there have been some major wins over the past 10 years, much work remains to be done.
In 2023, through our HIV Advocacy Program, we trained advocates in over 37 states and saw legislative victories that directly affect the lives of those living with HIV. Each state represents a step away from stigma and fear, a move towards common sense legislation grounded in science, compassion, and understanding.
This year, we’re going even further by developing a comprehensive curriculum that empowers advocates and organizations at the state level, but we need your support.
