So I am back and madder than ever. The hypocrisy of conservatives, including Trump, is mind boggling. Conservatives are promoting the isolationist idea that we have to protect our states here at home rather than democracy in the Ukraine. While Trump draws down income from over a dozen countries.

They say we have to protect our borders while Trump benefits from a foreign workforce here in the US.

And there are so many rich elites in this country that benefit so much from global economic interaction. With over 700 multinational corporations based in the U.S. such as Tesla and McDonalds.
The hypocrisy must stop. It is not right to reap the benefits of operating in foreign countries, including places we criticize like China, and yet promote an isolationist foreign policy. We have to stop raging about our border problems when there are no borders for big money. Companies can’t benefit from low wage immigrant workers and shut our borders down at the same time. It is just hypocritical.
We may need a better border policy. Maybe that means a border policy on wealth and capital. Let’s be smart, not hypocrites.
