What’s BAHIP? 🤝 BAHIP is an internship designed to train low-income college students of color for a career in affordable housing development and project management — by pairing each intern with an NPH member host agency, a leading nonprofit affordable housing developer. Who Should Apply? 🧑🤝🧑 BAHIP is designed for low-income college students of color. We strongly encourage applicants entering their last year of college in fall 2024 who have an interest in urban studies and/or community development. Students who are bi-cultural and/or bilingual/biliterate are also encouraged to apply. BAHIP Works ✊ BAHIP is a measurable and proven way that we’re working toward more equity and inclusion in the affordable housing industry. We’ve graduated dozens of interns with over 85% of graduates continuing in equity-focused and community-driven work! Ready to Apply? 📓 Review the program description before applying and attend an upcoming info session to get your questions answered: Tuesday, March 12 at 11AM-12PM and Monday, March 18 at 10AM-11AM.
