On this day in 1965, John Lewis and courageous leaders embarked on a journey from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama that forever changed the course of our nation's history.
Their peaceful protest was met with brutality, but they would not be silenced. Their voices grew louder as their demands for justice, equality, and freedom resounded globally. They were steadfast and determined to build a democracy where every voice is heard—and so are we.
Now, more than ever, we need YOUR support to keep the march for progress going strong. Your contribution will help us advocate for change, protect voting rights, and ensure a brighter future for all Georgians.
Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, captured it perfectly when she said, “This is our Civil Rights Movement. If you ever wondered what you would have done during the Civil Rights Movement, this is your opportunity to find out... It’s your turn to get in that good trouble. That’s how the march will continue.”

We can’t afford to take steps backwards. Yet, that’s exactly what extreme MAGA Republicans are trying to make happen. Will you donate $5 or more RIGHT NOW to help us continue to move Georgia forward?
In solidarity,
