There’s a new travel company in town but don’t trust the glitz and glamour...it sells animal cruelty 🙁. GetYourGuide, a Berlin-based travel company, is eager to grow its market in the US. This week, it’s launching national television ads during the Oscars to boost its brand and bring in new customers.
GetYourGuide sells tickets to some of the cruelest businesses in the world including SeaWorld, fake elephant “sanctuaries” in Thailand where elephants are forced to entertain visitors, and Monkeyland, a venue where monkeys are harassed by tourists.
Although GetYourGuide is not a popular travel company yet, it’s important we stop it now before it’s too late. With every ticket sold, captive wild animals will continue to suffer for tourist entertainment.
