John, I'm Chris Deluzio. I’m a voting rights attorney, Iraq War veteran, and dad of three running for re-election in PA-17.

I learned growing up right here in Western Pennsylvania that if we want something, we have to work for it. I decided to run for office because we need more people in Congress with the courage to fight for your rights.

But Republicans control the House right now, and their priorities just don’t line up with the priorities of the hardworking Western Pennsylvanians I know.

The last year-plus in Congress, my Republican colleagues have blocked any effort to protect the right to vote and defend of our democracy, they tried to enact an all-out ban on abortion, they passed a handout to their billionaire donors and corporate cronies, and they have tried to undo Democrats work to lower the prices of prescription drugs, juicing profits for Big Pharma instead of giving hardworking folks in our community a break.

These extremist Republicans are coming for our freedoms. I'm running for re-election to take them on and fight against political extremism.

Despite the partisan gridlock and Republican roadblocks in Washington, I'm proud of what I’ve been able to deliver for the people of Western Pennsylvania.

We’re delivering millions from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in our communities across Western PA. That means shovels in the ground, union jobs, and a hell of a lot of investment to make life better for folks in Western Pennsylvania.

We secured a massive federal investment in our region’s long neglected passenger rail service and major improvements to our roads, bridges, and airports.

We secured an over $10 million investment in clean energy – so we can grow and create solid jobs while securing our energy future. We expanded the Child Tax Credit, helping the over 21,000 eligible children in PA-17.

I've stood against corporate monopolies and powerful railroads, I've fought to make sure my fellow veterans get the benefits they've earned, and I've joined union workers on the picket line to demand fair contracts. I’ve defended the right to vote and your right to make your own pregnancy and health care decisions against every Republican attack that came my way.

But this election cycle, everything we've worked for is at stake. Right-wing Republicans are dead set on rolling back our progress, and they want to keep control of the House so they can continue to push Trump’s anti-democracy agenda.

John, that’s why they’ve made PA-17 one of their target races in 2024. They think that this campaign doesn't have what it takes to win. Let’s prove them wrong.
