Pacific Valor: Sergeant Darrell Cole will take place on the battlefield at the Pacific Combat Zone on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Pacific Valor reenactments honor a specific Medal of Honor recipient, telling their story and depicting their heroic actions. Cole gave his life during the 1945 Battle of Iwo Jima while personally eliminating enemy emplacements with multiple grenade assaults, enabling his company?s advance. The battle demonstration will include simulated explosives, blank firing guns, and a live M2-2 flamethrower for an immersive experience presented by living-history volunteers of Company K. This presentation is not recommended for small children, pets, or those with a heart condition.
Seating for this event is first come, first served, and ticket purchase is required for entry. Seats fill up quickly, so securing tickets in advance is recommended.
