*Join OJJDP for OVC*?*s Informational Webinar on Proposed Victim Compensation Amendments*

On March 15, 2024, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET, the Office for Victims of Crime [ [link removed] ] (OVC) will host an informational webinar [ [link removed] ] to discuss the federal victim compensation program and proposed changes to the current ?Victim Compensation Rule [ [link removed] ]. The proposed Rule will amend the current rule for implementation of the victim compensation program through the states.

OVC will take questions about the proposed rule changes for the compensation program *but cannot receive comments about the proposed Rule during the webinar*.?Comments must be submitted through the Federal Register [ [link removed] ]. The Rule is open for public comment until *April 5, 2024*.
