Subject: I made a promise

Friend, five years ago, I made a promise to myself.

When I made history in 2018 by becoming the first Black lawmaker ever to serve as New York’s attorney general, I vowed that – no matter what – I would be a voice for the voiceless, that I would speak for those who had been silenced for so long.

I’m proud to say that I’ve kept that promise – and this priorities survey is a key part of keeping it today. 

Friend, I will never stop fighting for you and your loved ones. But to do my absolute best, I need to know what concerns matter to you most. That’s why I’m counting on you to help me get 5,000 responses to my September Priorities Survey.

In recent months, we've put a stop to anti-abortion extremists, taken on the epidemic of senseless gun violence, and fought against record amounts of LGBTQ+ hate – all because my supporters told me how much those issues meant to them.
