Many have called the suffering experienced by people in one closed Middle Eastern country the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Ongoing civil war has left millions displaced and facing unprecedented hunger.

Your generosity allows our local partners to express kindness to families who would otherwise be unreachable. In a country where sharing about Jesus is considered illegal, humanitarian aid is the only reason ministry is allowed to continue. It allows our teams to tangibly meet needs, build relationships, and share the message of hope when the time is right.

Recently, the local team met Saleh* and his family. Saleh is just 20 years old and the oldest of 13 children. He lives with his mother and siblings in an internally displaced people (IDP) camp. After their father passed away, Saleh and his siblings were forced to provide food for themselves and medicine for their very ill mother.

When the local team met them and supplied them with meals, Saleh’s sister shared,This assistance helps alleviate our suffering and provides us with food for two weeks. We no longer have to worry about food for the time being, which will help us save enough to buy medicine for our mother. My thanks and gratitude go out to all those who contributed to delivering this assistance to us.
