Executive Director's Report:
Hi all! This is Dominic Thompson, FCDC's Executive Director. The month is off to a busy start here in Fairfax County! With the Presidential Primary happening this last Tuesday, FCDC congratulates President Biden for winning every county in the Democratic Primary. As we move towards November, it is vital to keep our eye on the ball and remember that Fairfax County is the turnout engine of the Commonwealth. To keep Virginia blue, we have to make sure that we turnout every single Democratic vote in Fairfax County this year!
Here at FCDC, we were heartened by the fact that Donald Trump lost big time in Fairfax County. This just goes to show that in our county, the divisive politics Donald Trump and Glenn Youngkin employ to try and win elections doesn't work.
On a final note, I want to invite all of you to our Annual Pick Your Pony Straw Poll [[link removed]] this Sunday! This is our first big fundraiser of the year and every dollar is going to ensure we turnout voters this November. I hope to see many of you there and to have a great time!
See & be seen: Our Sunday, March 10, Pick Your Pony Straw Poll & Democracy SavingTime[[link removed]] ( Mustang Sally Brewing, Chantilly [[link removed]] ) is an inexpensive fundraiser that will help us do what needs to be done to win big on and before November 5.
The afternoon includes live music from Split String Soup [[link removed]], a local Americana and Bluegrass group; a straw poll covering the Democratic primary races in the 7th, 10th, and 11th congressional districts, plus next year's gubernatorial race; and a wide selection of beers from Mustang Sally Brewing [[link removed]], an award-winning craft brewery in Chantilly! Non-alcoholic beverages and plenty of food also be available.

George Greene and Antonia Scatton will talk with Tiger Worku (MN), Elizabeth Blakemore (VT), and Ben Hackett (MN) about what young people want for this election, for their future, and the future of their children.
