John:
If you haven’t seen the news yet, Kyrsten Sinema isn’t running for re-election in Arizona. Arizona’s Senate campaign is going to be a head-to-head between Ruben Gallego and Kari Lake.
And we’ve got some good news, and some bad news.
The good news is that we’ve built an incredible campaign so far. We’ve got close to 150,000 individual donors, and we’ve raised enough to be really competitive this year.
The bad news is that this campaign is about to get a lot more complicated — and expensive. We’re expecting millions of dollars in attack ads to start coming our way any day now. More than $230 million was spent in Arizona’s Senate campaign in 2022, and we expect this one to be just as expensive.
What that means is that we need a huge surge of donations from folks who have been on the sidelines so far to stay competitive. We need you to make a donation today.
Our average contribution is about $24. Some give more, many give less. Today, the most important thing is that you make that donation.
Can Ruben Gallego count on you to chip in and split your donation between Blue South and his campaign? In a race this important every single donation matters, no matter the amount. They add up fast when everyone’s chipping in. [[link removed]]
