Dear John,
Crisis. This single word best describes the state of our country today. From out-of-control government spending, a wide-open Southern border, and global conflict and instability to the promotion and funding of abortion, LGBT ideology, and growing hostility to religious liberty, America is a troubled nation.
Ahead of President Biden's State of the Union address tomorrow, I evaluated the state of faith, family, and freedom in America under the Biden administration. It is sobering, yet a powerful reminder of the reason for the hope that is within us.

The Biden administration has proven itself to be openly hostile to religious liberty, and Christianity in particular. Despite Biden's claim that he is a Catholic, his policies have demonstrated his administration's opposition to biblical truth and teaching.
In Biden's America, gender confusion and transgender ideology have spread through our school system like wildfire, and many parents have found that schools have sought to transition their children without their knowledge.
His administration also continues to show hostility towards pro-life causes. It seeks to violate federal law and the pro-life laws of many states through the spread of mail-order abortion pills without medical oversight that the statistics reveal will lead to deaths of women.
These unbiblical priorities have had devastating consequences for America and the world, as both descend into instability and chaos.
But these cultural issues aren't the only area in which the Biden administration has failed. Biden has proved incapable of tackling even the most basic aspects of governance.
Government spending is out of control, fueling inflation and neither show signs of slowing down. Prices have skyrocketed and now many Americans are struggling just to make ends meet.
Crime has also flooded our streets. Our southern border is wide open, allowing millions of illegal immigrants to flood into our country, along with drugs, violence, and even more crime. Hundreds of migrants apprehended at the border were even on the terror watchlist.
All of this points to one simple truth. It's not safe in Biden's America.
But will President Biden genuinely address these crises in his State of the Union address tomorrow?

When we look at and consider our nation's challenges, we don't do so as people who have no hope of overcoming -- to the contrary. Jesus said in Luke 18 men should always pray and not lose heart or hope.
The state of faith, family, and freedom in America is being tested and tried to a degree that is almost unrivaled in our nation's history. But our confidence and hope in the future has never been more solid because we've seen the budding fruit of decades of prayer and biblically guided participation in our republican form of government.
