⚒️ National workforce solutions: The Bipartisan Workforce Pell Act would expand the Federal Pell Grant Program, a program that awards need-based grants to low-income students. I Make America pushed for supporters to take action in support of this critical bill that would allow for money to be invested into students who are pursuing 8-week educational programs such as welding apprenticeships. 🐮 Supporting Wisconsin dairy: Earlier in the month, I Make America supporters in Wisconsin wrote their legislators asking them to consider drafting legislation that would give money to dairy farmers to invest in precision dairy technology. Did you know that 95% of Wisconsin's dairy farms are family owned?

📝 Indiana's proposed increase in workforce training funds: Indiana lawmakers are considering a bill that would expand workforce training funds. The new measure aims to allow money from certain scholarship programs and grants to be used by high school graduates for training by an approved intermediary employer, or labor organization — rather than for education costs at a college or university. This means more money could be used for apprenticeships and trade programs, which would be a step in the right direction to solve the manufacturing industry's labor shortage.
