Friend, Last fall, Eric testified in the Colorado Supreme Court case to bar Donald Trump from qualifying on the ballot, under the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment. Since then, a handful of other states also moved to remove Trump’s name from the 2024 ballot. But just yesterday, SCOTUS, stacked with three of Trump’s hand-picked judges, ruled on the Colorado case in favor of Trump. But, we’ll never forget that dark day in our democracy, and we must do everything we can to ensure that our nation never witnesses another like it. Part of that is ensuring Trump never holds office again. We had faith in our democratic institutions after the decisions they made to hold him and the others who participated in January 6 accountable. It's now clear that the only way we can prevent another assault on our democracy is at the ballot box this November.
