We did it, John!

Election results are in, and I am excited to share that I have advanced to the General Election in California’s 30th Congressional District after finishing in first place!

I want to thank each of you for your support for my campaign, and express how grateful I am for this grassroots team. With your help, we’re on track to elect the first woman ever to represent this district in its history!

I also want to thank the Democratic candidates in this race who uplifted our democracy by running hard-fought campaigns. It’s my hope we can all work together to ensure that every community in our district has the effective, values-driven representation it deserves in Congress.

While votes are still being counted, it’s likely we will be facing a Republican candidate in the General Election. I look forward to finishing what we started when I first launched this campaign -- ensuring our interests are front and center in Washington. That means tackling climate change, protecting our reproductive freedoms, and removing barriers to creating and maintaining affordable housing in our state.

There's a lot of work ahead of us, and I’m so grateful to have you by my side.
