Two weeks ago, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that embryos are children, functionally ending IVF access in the state.
Last week, Senate Republicans BLOCKED a bill that would have protected IVF across the country.
All of this is due to GOP appointed extremists on the Supreme Court overturning decades of established precedent when they overturned Roe v. Wade and allowed states to restrict reproductive rights.
The GOP is the anti-choice party. They don’t want to allow women to make any choices when it comes to their own bodies, families, and health care. They’ve banned abortion, are working on banning IVF, and have plans in place to ban contraceptives.
