JOIN ME FOR A MID-SESSION TOWN HALL!

I would like to invite everyone to join me for a legislative town hall tomorrow evening from 6:00-7:30pm at Coleman Park Community Center. I will be providing a mid-session legislative update and hosting several state departments to provide important updates on multiple issues.

Importantly, I have invited the Tennessee Department of Safety to provide all of you who attend the opportunity to apply for your REAL ID on-site. If you would like to spare yourself another fun trip to the DMV, join us tomorrow night. This will be the most convenient opportunity you will have to apply for a REAL ID.

*This invitation is open to all residents of Nashville, not just those residing in District 55. As always, our doors are open to everyone!

TOWN HALL LINEUP

We have invited the following departments to attend and provide the following information. These departments will also be available to answer any other questions attendees might have.

TN Dept. of Transportation - Update on their proposed toll lane project for I-24 and any developments and progress regarding Amtrak service in Tennessee. (*For full disclosure, as TDOT is fully aware, I opposed the toll lane legislation.)

TN Dept. of Children's Services - Update on the initiatives of the new commissioner regarding caseworker vacancies, foster care and other related matters.

TN Sec. of State - Update on elections and voting laws.

TN Office of Unclaimed Property - Learn how to claim unclaimed property.

TN Dept. of Safety - Apply for REAL ID's and updates on public safety inititatives. (*See instructions for REAL ID's below.)
