Yesterday was the Super Tuesday presidential primary across the country — and Donald Trump won in 14 of 15 states that voted yesterday, including Minnesota.
There’s more, john: Nikki Haley dropped out of the election this morning, so Trump has all but secured the GOP nomination for the White House. And that means the stakes of this election are higher than ever.
It’s no surprise that over 30 of my GOP colleagues in the Senate have endorsed Trump.
Trump has an iron grip on the modern-day Republican Party.
Even though he is facing 91 criminal charges. And gloated about stacking the Supreme Court and overturning Roe v. Wade. And instigated the insurrection on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. And tried to overturn election results when they didn’t go his way.
Donald Trump and his acolytes are a danger to our country — and I’m fighting hard to defeat the MAGA agenda in the Senate and at the ballot box this year.
It will not be easy — Trump and his endorsed candidates are going to throw everything they’ve got Democrats’ way.
But we’ve defeated Trump before. And I know that this grassroots team can do it again.
