Hey John, it's Katie, part of the Finance Team at the Kansas Dems. Working for this organization over the last few years has really shown me the importance and value in hard work early on – and I want to say thank you for showing up for us last month.

The first step to reaching our goals is planning ahead.
This month, we're aiming to raise $15,000 online to keep us on track for our End of Quarter deadline.
We'll never say no to a near-election-day donation to help at the polls, but there are a few reasons why we're asking for contributions sooner rather than later. Early contributions help us:
1️⃣ Create a realistic budget for the next 8 months – we're more effectively able to allocate funds to different party operations, which allows us to be creative and flexible as far-right extremists continue to throw curveballs at us throughout the election season.
2️⃣ Show the strength of our movement – organizing is key, John. More grassroots supporters will join our mission if they see how motivated and successful we are right now, and we can exponentially grow the size of our coalition by Election Day.
3️⃣ Execute our plans ASAP – the earlier we can get our resources, the earlier we can increase our folks in the field, gather more data, and host more training and recruitment events.
As we *March* toward Election Day, we're asking for your support to help us reach our overarching goal: BREAKING the Supermajorities in the Legislature and re-electing Democrats across Kansas this fall.
