To win this election, Biden needs to deliver for young people.

Hi Sunrisers, it’s Michele, Sunrise’s Political Director. This morning, Nikki Haley dropped out, leaving Trump as the presumptive GOP nominee. It’s safe to say that the general election has begun. Right now, it's not looking good for Biden. Poll after poll shows him losing to Trump in swing states, nationwide, and even among young people.

Today, I joined Senator Bernie Sanders, Representative Jamaal Bowman, Representative Summer Lee, and other elected officials and youth organizations to lay out our Youth Agenda: what Biden needs to do on climate change, the economy, immigration, and Gaza to turn out our generation- otherwise he risks losing in November.

The agenda is a bold, progressive roadmap for how Biden can act this year to build a better world for us and for future generations.

This is the kind of action young people need from Biden to feel mobilized to turn out in November.

Can you chip in to help us push Biden to meet the calls of our generation?

We're sending this message loud and clear this spring. Over 50,000 people have called on Biden to meet our demands, and we’ve rallied in dozens of cities around the country.

At the press conference, I spelled it out for Biden: "This is a literal roadmap to how you build trust and energy among our generation in a critical election year."

To win this election, Biden needs to deliver for young people. That means using every tool at his disposal to create green union jobs and protect our communities from climate disasters.

And it means backing a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

So, if you support us, please sign the Youth Agenda and contribute whatever you can afford today.
