Earlier this week, we announced Jessica Mackler as the new president of EMILYs List!

Jessica is taking the helm at a moment when our mission -- electing Democratic pro-choice women -- is more essential than ever. And she's just the woman for the job: She has spent her entire career waging tough battles in Democratic politics, no matter how steep the odds or hostile the landscape.

And the political landscape of 2024 is nothing if not hostile to women candidates and reproductive rights. But we know that our millions-strong pro-choice community is ready to meet the moment -- and Jessica knows it, too.
