Arrington received the presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump’s endorsement this week. Tomorrow’s event is the unveiling of a Trump-Arrington death panel for Medicare and Social Security.

The Trump-Arrington commission will pit Social Security and Medicare benefits against tax cuts for billionaires, with a structure designed to give billionaires the upper hand.

Instead of cutting benefits for millions of Americans, if a few millionaires and billionaires paid their fair share, we could afford to expand Social Security benefits and prevent the retirement income crisis from worsening.

Republicans like Donald Trump and Jodey Arrington want Americans to have no choice but to gamble their money on Wall Street, so that their ultra-rich donors can collect massive fees and skirt taxes on those gains. Democrats have proposed numerous plans in the light of day, including the Social Security 2100 Act and the Social Security Expansion Act. Republicans insist on hiding their desires.
